Graham’s love of the songs of Smokie, his solid playing and strong vocals made him a perfect candidate for ‘Spirit of Smokie’. Well liked and well known to Smokie fans he shared lead vocals with Alan Silson.

His early musical career started aged 18 with the ‘Rockabilly Rebs’ who released two albums and a single. He recorded with Paul McCartney’s Musicians at the world famous Abbey Road Studios and went on to Tour Europe and the US with many bands including ‘Sad Café’, ‘Bauhaus’, ‘Kid Ego’ and ‘Sisters of Mercy’. Later in his career he met Andy Whelan and Alan Barton (Smokie) with whom he toured and recorded.

A long time touring member of the ‘British Eagles’ he recently completed a European tour with top US country singer/singwriter Gail Davies.

Graham’s talented bass playing has combined with Mick’s inspirational drumming to make a world class ‘rhythm section’.
