Mick began playing drums at the tender age of 11 and by the age of 13 he was involved in regular shows, gaining valuble experience. Whilst studying at the famous Leeds College of Music, his skills were in demand 5 nights a week for various artists; this lead to his first professional tour with hit recording artist ‘Labi Siffre’.

After graduation he went on to tour with such world famous bands/artists as Tears for Fears, Chris de Burgh and Alan Stivell, and was fortunate enough to work in a “house band” performing alongside the likes of Sting, Gary Barlow (the lead singer of the pop group ‘Take That’) and the National Youth Theatre.
